Usually the hand and wrist ones are big and don’t bend as much as the ones in the crook of your arm but they do hurt a lot more🥲

The real answer is if you insert IVs in the hand and it blows or malfunctions during the case, you can always use the veins upstream towards the body that would not interfere with the blown vein
