Yall commenters aint too bright huh? The benefit is it can operate in enclosed spaces, indoors, or underground, while the diesel powerpack sits outside or next to the ventilation. It's not supposed to be "green".

Key fact almost everyone is missing. Mechanical engines go through diff accelerations. Generator engines run at an efficient consistent output. “Diesel powered battery” isn’t a dig, it’s admitting that it’s more efficient.

why not build a machine like a locomotive. power generation plant. youd only need the engine when the batteries started running low. it would use a fraction of the fuel that the charging station requires and no down time

That thing should be all set up that when he’s booming down it should be regenerating power they should use the gravity of the arm to help generate some electricity to put back into the battery and the whole thing should be covered in solar panels that would help tremendously but what do I know? I’m just an idiot that runs diesel engines.
