Storm has spent 494 days at the shelter after being surrendered simply because she didn’t get along with the other dog in her home. Since then, she’s watched day after day pass from the back of her kennel, waiting for someone to finally see her. This shy 4-year-old girl just needs a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’s worth every ounce of patience. At around 50 pounds, she’s the perfect size and is looking for a loving home where she can be the only dog. While no food or resource guarding has been observed during her time at the shelter, she has a history of guarding food, toys, and her bed in her previous home, so she will need experienced, dog-savvy adopters who understand management and positive reinforcement.
