Not everyone that has had a hysterectomy needs it. Get your levels checked. See a specialist. I had a hysterectomy 13 yrs ago everything but one ovary and still not I menopause. Everyone is different. Find a good doc get the tests. Simple

I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago! Ive just started progesterone about a month ago on 200mg but it does not help me sleep! It’s 310 and still can’t go to sleep!

I just learned this. I had a hysterectomy over 20 years ago. I've been off all hormones. I am seeing a gyno specialist that told me how important hormones are after hysterectomy. Our heart and brain REQUIRE them!!

Progesterone, estrogen and testosterone are all important hormones that we need. When we go into menopause it doesn't matter if it's natural menopause or menopause brought on via hysterectomy. I am so happy that doctors are finally seeing how important these hormones are. For us to have replaced in our bodies and how much more life and more enjoyable life, we will be for women in the future..

Not if you had ER positive breast cancer, I have no uterus. I'm post menopause and I'm not supposed to have any hormones not estrogen or progesterone wrong again.
