I’m not sure what state you guys are in, but in North Carolina an hvac company there offered cleaning/sanitizing for the duct work. Hopefully you guys could find one that did offer it!!

The only way to get it out of the ductwork is to replace it. My daughter just went through it.

You should reach out to another HVAC company because I had mold and other issues with my HVAC and a house that we bought in the company was able to come out and sanitize and clean everything and what they couldn’t. They just took out and replaced

If you can afford it, I really suggest finding a temporary rental for a month so you can get done the basics at least. If you do, just unpack what you absolutely need so you don’t have to fully move twice
