@pillow4925: Eric Robert Rudolph is an American domestic terrorist best known for carrying out the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta, along with a string of subsequent anti-abortion and anti-gay bombings across the American South. Born in Melbourne, Florida, Rudolph moved with his family to the rural, rugged mountains of western North Carolina following his father’s death in 1981. It was in this isolated Appalachian environment that he grew up, dropping out of high school and becoming deeply radicalized by anti-government, white supremacist, and Christian Identity extremist ideologies. After committing his attacks, Rudolph managed to evade one of the largest FBI manhunts in history for over five years by utilizing his advanced wilderness survival skills to hide out in the dense Nantahala National Forest. His run finally ended in May 2003 when he was caught foraging for food behind a grocery store in Murphy, North Carolina, by a rookie police officer. To avoid the death penalty, Rudolph pled guilty to his crimes and was sentenced to multiple consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole, ensuring he will spend the rest of his days locked away inside the ADX Florence maximum-security prison in Colorado. #fyp #truecrime #violence #domesticterror #ericrudolph
