The NEW Sony RX10 V | Here Are My Thoughts 📸/🎥 💭 Sony just announced a brand new camera - the Sony RX10 V, and these are my thoughts after having used it for about a week. This isn’t a ‘full review’, and is more so a quick introduction to the camera and my initial takeaways. All in all, this is a super interesting camera on multiple levels. The fact that it can capture 30fps blackout free RAW photos while also being able to shoot 422 10 bit slog 3 4K 120p video makes this sound like a professional camera…But I’m not sure a majority of professionals will be reaching for this one over their A7 / A1 / A9 (save for some exceptions). Obviously, the standout feature is the wild 24-600mm zoom lens (in full frame equivalent terms). Having that kind of reach when traveling was epic and it worked really well for casually documenting my adventures while also being able to create high quality images. I can actually see this replacing my A7IV / A7V + 24-105 for some adventures.
