People always see where I am now, but they don’t know where God brought me from. I’ve been cooking since I was about 8 years old. I learned in the kitchen beside my granny, watching my Big Daddy get excited over everything I made. Cooking has always been a gift God placed inside of me. As I got older, I stopped listening. I started smelling myself, got caught up with men who meant me no good, and by the age of 23 I had five beautiful children. Those men walked away, leaving me to raise them with little to no help. Trying to survive, I made some bad decisions. I got involved in fraud, and when that fell apart, I started boosting. The money came fast, and I mean FAST. But everything that comes easy ain’t always meant to stay. Before I knew it, I was in and out of jail, on probation, completing probation just to catch another charge, violating probation, and going right back. It became a cycle I thought I’d never escape. But here’s what I want people to know… PEOPLE DO CHANGE. I’m not proud of my past, but I’m not ashamed to tell it either, because without my past, there wouldn’t be a testimony. God never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself. Every setback, every jail visit, every tear, every disappointment was preparing me for the woman I’m becoming today. Today, I choose peace over chaos. I choose purpose over the streets. I choose hard work over shortcuts. Most importantly, I choose God. Now I’m walking in the gift He gave me all those years ago. I’m cooking—not just food, but meals made with love, passion, and purpose. Every plate I put out represents another chapter of my redemption story. From the recipes to the presentation, to the packaging, I pour my heart into it because this isn’t just a business…it’s proof that God can restore what the enemy tried to destroy. So if you’re watching me now, just know you’re not watching someone who had it easy. You’re watching someone who survived. You’re watching someone God pulled out of the pit and placed on purpose. My name may have once been attached to my mistakes, but now I want it attached to my purpose. So sit back…watch what God does next.
