I love that you made the best decision for you. Sidenote: while rare, the tubes sometimes grow back together after the 5 yr period. Idk what the follow up tests are, but keep that in mind for a few more years.

Just got a hysterectomy. Surgery was a few hours. We are out 6-8 weeks, no hunching per my dr for 12 weeks. The aftermath/care is a lot. It can take a few months to a year for internal healing. Some don’t return back to their normal.

That’s when I made the decision to get my hysterectomy and only because I had decades of documented issues and was approaching 40 was I “allowed”. I actually had a very easy surgery maybe an hour and half, took Tylenol PM for 3 days. And just enjoyed my 6 weeks off. Best decision ever. Wish I could have done it when I was younger.
