@ggnandezz: Week 5 post-op. People love to call bariatric surgery “the easy way out.” But there has been nothing easy about this journey. The hardest part isn’t just the surgery it’s everything that comes after. Learning to live with a stomach that can only handle a few bites. Watching everyone else eat while you’re measuring every ounce. Prioritizing protein, tracking fluids, hitting your macros, taking vitamins every single day… for life. Then there’s the exercise. The discipline. The mental battle of changing years of habits and building a completely new relationship with food. This surgery is a tool, not a shortcut. It doesn’t do the work for you it gives you a chance to do the work differently. Week 5 has already taught me that this journey requires patience, consistency, and commitment every single day. And I’m proud of myself for showing up, even on the hard days. 🤍 #GastricBypass #BariatricSurgery #WeightLossJourney #BypassJourney #BariatricLife

You look amazing!! And 100% it isn’t the easiest way out, yes a great tool but not easy at all. That’s why I’m debating over a few yrs because it’s a huge life changing surgery
