Civil war never ended. Confederate soldiers and sympathizers were never punished. They were allowed to return home and continue their legacy of hate and racism. The confederate flag was never banned but instead celebrated. Germany made it illegal to use the word Nazi or display anything with a swastika. What did we do? We have that flag as bumper stickers and even flying on buildings and statues. The civil war just moved from the battlefield to the boardroom.
