@kaizen3dprints: I've had requests to ask about how I print TPU, 85a in particular. This is using blue and green 85a TPU from @BAMBULAB Official on the H2D using a .6mm nozzle to 3D print some bifold wallets. I'll be lasering these after they're sewn together. I change the volumetric speed to 3 (from 2.2) as it increases speed a bit without sacrificing noticeable quality. I decreased the layer height to .2mm and changed the wall generator from classic to arachne. Many have commented to stick the plate in the freezer to make the TPU fall right off. Short answer: negative🥶 I'll continue to use a very small amount of Isopropyl alcohol in a misting spray bottle to help remove the printed parts from the build plate. I'll sew these wallets up and have them down @Open Sauce next weekend if you're there and want to see how they feel in person. How has your experience been with 3D printing TPU? If you're interested in this filament or any others I've demonstrated, I have affiliate links through my bio.
tpu had been around for years. I used to print 85a with a bowden setup with a 0.4mm nozzle. pretty sure that h2d can do it (see 2 below).
1. spray aquanet hairspray on the plate and the tpu will come right off. when done printing Tpu wash plate with soap and water.
2. use a holder with ball bearings to reduce resistance while the spool rolls. it is easy to design one using a TPU bushing to make the rolling resistance adjustable (or just download one).

ok I have a crazy plan for a cosplay. I planning to sew 3d printed chain mail to a fursuit I am worried about the durability of chainmail of 3d print on exterior of suit. what are your thoughts on it

Love them. I havu used TPU before, did not have the best time with it. I've tried it twice now. Only TPU though with 0.4 nozzle. It wasn't 95A though. It clogged my AD5X & I swore I'd never use it again. But then, I decided to try it again & used my son's Creality Ender 3 that was just sitting in a room for a few years doing nothing, give it a good clean & upgrade, used 0.6 nozzle, but again, I just couldn't get the settings right, with the help of Chat GPT, for weeks we tried. So, I've given up again 🙈😱. I really wanna try it again though. I bought 4 spools of TPU & now they're just sitting there 👀🙈.
