I used to by the cloth elastic boot blouses, then I tied one end to the drawstring in the cuff and pulled it through. Then I used pliers to close the hooks on the boot blouses together. Bam. Elastic cuff.

......You know those little strings at the end? Those are called boot blousers. DONT TUCK YOUR BOOTS IN OR FOLD THEM. Hem the openings to the top of your boot and pull those strings, and tie them. That's literally what they are used for. Man that's an eye sore seeing people tuck their pants into their boot and their boot puffs out all wide and crap.

Speed lacing paired with sock blousing is the BEST way to do it. Never did my shit come undone, never was it uncomfortable, and I never had to buy shit. The only other acceptable answer is buying blousers and weaving them into the hole at the bottoms of the pant legs.
