Devotion Based On Psalms 23 For those that play sports we have a team captain, and that captain is known as a leader. You trust your captain to help you when you if your struggling or maybe be there when your team needs them the most. A captain is usually someone who is not selfish and cares for there team. This is exactly how we should see Jesus. As our captain. Every tough situation Jesus is always there for us. In every time we feel lost or not found Jesus is there for us. Everything we go through Jesus is and always will be there for us. So why not trust him? He always provides even in the hardest of times. He is our shepard and will guide us everywhere we need to go. - Proverbs 3:5-6 we are told "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This is a perfect example of how Jesus is our Shepherd. If we trust in Jesus he will make our paths straight and provide us with all we need. Ask yourself- Do you see Jesus as your shepherd? And do you trust him to guide you wherever you need to go?
