Replying to @moses livingstone A lot of people say, “Even if a Sunday law comes, that doesn’t mean you can’t keep Sabbath or work on Saturday.” And early on—that’s true. But that’s because the Sunday law crisis unfolds in stages, not all at once. Stage 1: Voluntary Sunday observance Sunday is promoted as a solution for social unity, morality, family values, and rest. No penalties. No force. It feels harmless, even Christian. Most people comply without resistance because nothing appears at stake. Stage 2: Civil enforcement & economic pressure Sunday laws become tied to commerce and labor. Businesses close. Buying and selling is restricted. Employment becomes conditional. You’re still “free” to keep Sabbath—but it starts to cost you financially and socially. This mirrors Revelation 13:17: economic coercion before persecution. Stage 3: Religious enforcement Sunday observance is no longer just civil—it’s declared a moral obligation. Those who obey God’s commandments are labeled extremists, threats to unity, or enemies of peace. At this stage, the mark of the beast issue becomes clear—not because people lack knowledge, but because truth is being resisted. Stage 4: Death decree (final test) This is the stage most people don’t want to talk about. Ultimately, obedience to God’s law is criminalized, and a death penalty is pronounced against those who refuse false worship (Revelation 13:15). The issue is about worship and authority. God’s law vs man’s law. Christ vs coercion. Sunday laws don’t begin by banning Sabbath keeping. They begin by conditioning conscience, until compromise feels reasonable and obedience feels radical. The real question isn’t: “Will I still be allowed to worship on Saturday?” It’s: “Who will I obey when obedience has consequences?” If you want a deep, Bible-based breakdown, go to my YouTube channel and watch my full sermon on The Four Stages of the Sunday Law in my End Time Final Events Series playlist. We walk through this step by step from Scripture. 🔗 Learn more at www.theadventtruth.com #Jesus #BibleStudy #SeventhDayAdventist #Sabbath #TheAdventTruth
