I get what you're saying but I don't think it's always true. There's a difference between perfectionism that brings thoughts like "oh what will people think of it ?" and "I'm not satisfied with what I did". If I spent hours doing something, you better believe I'll be a perfectionist if it does not end up how I want.

THIS. pls don't be perfectionist, I took ib art and I hated it because i hated anything i made when I couldn't get a detail right, it put me in a stump and it brought my motivation in school even lower. I then ended up failing my diploma by one mark. I was very aware that it was cuz of my insecurity in my skills when everybody around me said I was capable (although just under practiced), but I had the "perfect" idea in my head that I wanted to reach, but then that kept me from consistently practicing and wanting to improving on it instead. make it, don't perfect it y'all :,)
