I keep seeing OT6s and OT7s fighting in the comments, saying things like, “See? You never won. Jungwon finally told you what he really thinks,” or “OT7s are so disrespectful,” and so on.
But honestly, this isn’t about who was right. It’s not about OT6s saying, “See? Jungwon agrees with us,” or OT7s trying to prove they were right either.
The reality is much simpler: Heeseung is gone. He’s not coming back to the group, and we’re never going to see the seven members together again. That’s the actual issue.
So arguing about who “won” is pointless. It’s honestly childish and ridiculous. As OT7s, we’re simply sad, especially if Heeseung was our bias.
It doesn’t mean we don’t respect Enhypen or Heeseung’s solo career. That’s not the point at all. We’ve spent six years watching these seven members grow up together. We got attached to them as seven. So of course it’s heartbreaking that things ended this way. That’s just life.
People keep saying, “You lost,” or “You never won,” but what does that even mean? If there had ever been a real “win,” it would’ve been Heeseung coming back and Enhypen being seven again. That was never going to happen.
And honestly, even for the people who support OT6, wouldn’t that have been a better outcome? If you’re genuinely happy that Enhypen is no longer seven and that Heeseung isn’t coming back, then maybe you’ve just developed resentment toward Heeseung himself.
Saying, “OT7s are disrespecting Enhypen,” completely misses the point. Most OT7s aren’t trying to disrespect anyone. They’re grieving the end of something they’ve loved for years.
It honestly feels like some people are more interested in proving they were right than understanding why OT7 fans are hurt. That’s all.
