مرحلهٔ دوم تحصن ما در برابر دفتر سازمان ملل متحد و دفتر کمیساریای عالی حقوق بشر در ژنو به پایان رسید. در طول این شش شبانه‌روز، هزاران انسان عدالت‌خواه، آزادی‌خواه و متعهد از دور و نزدیک در کنار ما ایستادند و نشان دادند که صدای عدالت را نمی‌توان خاموش کرد و مطالبات برحق مردم را نمی‌توان نادیده گرفت. اکنون در انتظار پاسخ سازمان ملل متحد هستیم؛ اما اگر پاسخی درخور مسئولیت و تعهدات این نهاد جهانی دریافت نشود، اگر بار دیگر بی‌تفاوتی جای عدالت را بگیرد، ما بازخواهیم گشت؛ نیرومندتر، گسترده‌تر و مصمم‌تر از همیشه. مبارزه برای حقوق زنان و دختران سرزمین ما متوقف‌شدنی نیست و هرگز به عقب بازنخواهد گشت. این راه ادامه دارد… Our second round of protest outside the United Nations and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva has come to an end. Over the past six days, thousands of supporters, activists, and advocates for justice stood with us from across the world. Their solidarity sent a clear message: the call for justice cannot be silenced. We are now waiting for the United Nations to respond. But if our demands continue to be ignored, if indifference once again prevails over justice, we will return—stronger, larger, and more determined than ever. Our fight for the rights of the women and girls of Afghanistan will not stop. We will not back down. This movement continues.
