I’m not tryna start beef but the person who literally created the manga literally highlighted how he is literally, well and truly a child. Rudeus only has the physiological capabilities and the maturity of the age he is in his new world. It wouldn’t make sense for a child of 4 to have the iq of a 40 year old man yk? No matter how many memories you have of your past world. Your argument doesn’t hold up as your physiology is reverted to a young child when introduced to a new world. Your brain reverts to a child, your intelligence reverts to that of a child, and your maturity changes back to when you are a child. Rudeus isn’t a 40 year old living in a child’s body, he is a child who has the memories of his past life.

He’s a dude who got reincarnated into a child’s body. He had his memories form his past adult life. So yes he knows he is an adult, that is also why he appears as a full grown man to that god he dealt with and not a kid. He knows he’s a grown man.
