I am one of the residents involved in the lawsuit. I am the last house that is directly BESIDE the land for the data center. So if this gets reapproved, my current view of beautiful fields and woods will get replaced by a massive data center campus, with tall industrial buildings and bright street lights. I cannot tell you how much I do not want this to happen. We already have constant construction noise all day due to a solar panel farm that is being built right across the street from us. That land is also owned by the same guy who owns the land for the data center.

I believe implementation should begin across the country. Establishing data centers seems unnecessary. I also learned that North Carolina’s utilities commission is debating whether to transfer electricity expenses to customers, along with costs for constructing new power facilities.
