This is actually one of few very good cdrama shorts. This was definitely made pre-censorship crackdown from the shitty ccp and likely was made and targeted towards overseas chinese. So there’s actually a lot of realistic revenge including actual murders (shooting dead villains etc) and no nonsensical let the ccp police bring justice when the villains get comically arrested at the end of each shitty plot which Is a frustrating trope. It has a satisfying plot and overall ending as well. This is closer to Hollywood revenge plot than an unrealistic ccp censored version where the victims’ only revenge is calling the police for justice
