Public Appeal to the United Nations, the European Parliament, and European Governments
For more than five decades, Afghanistan has been the frontline of conflicts driven by global and regional interests. The Afghan people have paid the highest price, with millions of lives lost, generations deprived of education, and the country's infrastructure and institutions devastated.
We urge the international community to honestly examine how billions of dollars in aid and military support were spent and who ultimately benefited. Many of the warlords who claimed to represent Afghanistan became extremely wealthy while the Afghan people continued to suffer.
We also call for an independent investigation into longstanding allegations regarding the Pakistani military's double role during the conflict—publicly presenting itself as a counterterrorism partner while allegedly providing support or safe haven to armed groups. The international community must learn from the consequences of these policies and ensure they are never repeated.
We recognize that many Afghans have serious concerns about women's rights and girls' education under the current authorities, and these issues must continue to be addressed. However, we categorically reject any attempt to restore the former warlords, corrupt networks, and individuals accused of grave crimes against the Afghan people.one of them was the pakistani military agent professor Burhanuddin Rabbani, which in 1992 came in power in Afghanistan. he handedover the full afghan national army equipment including 350 military aircrafts, 500 tanks and hunderts of long range Rocket to Pakistan.
Afghanistan deserves justice, accountability, and policies based on the interests of its people—not another cycle of failed strategies and destructive proxies.
The Afghan people deserve peace, dignity, and the right to determine their own future.
