Cherry is still in the clinic and continues her treatment. She has an appetite and is eating on her own, which makes us very happy. Every day, she receives her medications, has her nose gently cleaned, and gets the supportive care she needs. Because of her illness, Cherry’s immune system remains very weak. She still needs daily medications, IV fluids, and close monitoring to help her stay stable and slowly regain her strength. We know her recovery won’t happen overnight, and she still has a long way to go. But every time she eats, rests comfortably, or has a good day, it gives us hope. Thank you for continuing to think of Cherry and care about her journey. For a cat who spent her whole life on the streets, being loved and looked after is something completely new.
