wow what a journey , waited 32 years for this moment. the process started back in october had to wait 5 months for a response from uscis and finally was able to take my oath. For as long as I can remember, my parents and I were going back and forth to lawyers’ offices, trying endlessly to do things the right way, but we kept hitting walls. As I got older, I started to believe that maybe this would just always be my situation. Life happens, and there were moments where I felt defeated. Then God placed an incredible lawyer in my life — truly a blessing in disguise. She took on my case and worked tirelessly to make this possible. After almost 8 years of the process — work permits, a green card, and many steps along the way — I can finally say that today I am a United States citizen. I am proud to be an immigrant. That never stopped me from chasing my dreams or reaching my goals — if anything, it pushed me even harder. I’ve always wanted to beat the statistics and prove that where you come from does not define how far you can go. Immigrants work hard. We sacrifice. We build better lives for our families. I will never be ashamed of my story — it has made me who I am, and I’m proud of it. I’m so grateful that God has carried me through this journey, and I’m excited to see what this new chapter brings for me and my family. 🎉🇺🇸 This is MY TESTIMONY ❤️ Thank you God for your Goodness and Favor on my life 🙏🏽 #citizenship #oathceremony #fyp #uscitizen #citizenshiptest
