My mom, both my late grandmothers, and the many friends and relatives close and far—muab zaj raj no fij cuam rau nej nawb. As a man, I mostly play Hmong surrogate language musics from the male perspective, and I know that leaves out literally over half of the Hmong experience. So this is an improvised song of something you might hear from the female perspective. Remember that most Hmong music is improv!
