they best way is the Big Bus from ground floor gate 8. it cost about 350 baht takes 3.5 hours, the good news it is a 70 seater converted to a 35 seater. each seat is buiness class with recline and water bottle on arrival. they are linked to arrival times. it stops at hua hin bus station near Merc dealer. it offers free run into town and 100 baht to your hotel. the trip is reverse and drops you at departures level, plenty of room for bags.

No, I'll tell you the best way to go to Bangkok then back to Hua Hin. I live in Hua Hin. Don't take the minivan, really uncomfortable and they keep stopping to pick up extra passengers even when there are no seats. Instead take the luxury coach at 9.30am from Hua Hin bus station to Mo Chit. Takes just 3.5 hours and only costs 330 baht, really comfortable, reserved seat, no stops. At Mo Chit you connect directly to both BTS and MRT. Coming back take the evening train, express (eg 5.30pm) because coaches only run in the early morning. Book 2nd class fan using the app (reserved seat) cheap, comfortable seats, plenty of leg room, takes 4 hours. Don't take minivan, worst travel experience ever.
