Every Superman movie to date has shown some SUPER aspect of Superman that shows why he is super. Brandon took a bullet to his open eye and smiled, he caught the plane in the air keeping it from crashing on the stadium, he lifted an entire Kryptonite island into outer space. Cavil has too many showcases to list here. Reeves lifted a helicopter with one hand like nothing, moved tectonic plates to fix California, moved the moon to neutralize solar-man, turned back time to save Lois. What was Corenswet’s? Blowing. Literally (and figuratively) blowing was his display of power, which was a blip in the movie not really focused on, and completely lame. Corenswet is little more than a cosplayer with powers than Superman.

1 . He was being restrained by a clone of himself who is just as powerful as him , 2. He surrendered himself and wasn’t trying to fight back. He literally gets the cuffs taken off when he’s in the pocket dimension
