Never felt so insignificant in my life. Imagine the commit you make to someone but instead of them fighting to protect the relationship and its peace, they fight to keep in touch with an ex and be nice based on ‘principles’.. I just want to be loved wholly where there is no one they’d rather give their attention to and I don’t have to ask for them to not entertain or let themselves be charmed by someone else. It’s an active choice. It makes me question my own worth when the person I love most in this world is keeping options available in case I’m not good enough.
