Ep 3 🎓 The Content Classroom Lesson 3: How to talk comfortably and naturally on camera (without sounding like a scripted robot) Do you turn into a completely different person the second you press record? One of the biggest mistakes people make when creating content is trying to sound “professional”, why do we all automatically turn into a news reporter?! 😅 The problem? People don’t connect with perfect. They connect with real. The goal isn’t to sound like a presenter. The goal is to sound like yourself. One of the best tips I can give you is this: imagine you’re sending a voice note to a friend. That’s how you should be speaking on camera. If you’re not someone who sends voice notes, picture yourself telling a friend something and channel that into the way you talk on camera! The truth is, nobody starts out sounding natural. I’ve been creating content for over 15 years, and the only reason I feel comfortable talking to a camera now is because I’ve done it thousands of times! Like literally thousands of hours. You don’t need more confidence. You just need to practice! The confidence will come. 🎒 Homework: Record a 60-second video talking about something you know really well. Don’t overthink it. Just hit record and start talking. You don’t even have to post it, just film it! Class dismissed 🍎 see you in the next episode! And a reminder, for more unfiltered and free business advice, listen to my podcast #BigBusiness #TheContentClassroom #BigBusinessPodcast
