It really is entirely dependent on the behavior you're expecting to change. 🤷 You should know who they are before or early on in dating and stay/leave based on that. People rarely change, for others or even themselves. We are, who we are. If they need to change to mature, heal, or grow as person. That's understandable. But for the most part, if you're paying attention, you know exactly who they are and they won't change. Take off the rose tinted glasses and actually look at your partner and who they are, not your idealized version of them in your head that you're trying to make them be.
