With all the new technology that we have these days, that thing would need a serious upgrade before turning it on

They wont turn it on because it harms the oil companies, it was never about "safety" the design copied a korean nuclear power plant design that was safe and didn't have any issue. The government officials gets paid by oil companies

Of course the safest after Chernobyl was to wait and learn. I don't know the exact story about this plant, but probably after Chernobyl new safer regulations came, which would again mean upgrading designs and constructions. It's costly if even possible. It's not a fucking sari-sari store.

Should be given a throw look over and yes turn it on the problem with Noble is they didn’t pay attention if I remember the information correctly the over with the safety protocols cause making electricity was more important than safety. Supposedly if I remember correctly from what I read about it, but I could be mistaken as long as we make sure it has all the modern safety protocols of today. May need some modernization for that it should be completely safe to turn on and make nuclear power. You just have to have the protocol in place if anything doesn’t seem right you shut it down. You don’t wait for approval or an OK. It gets turned off. It’s better to have a brown out than an explosion.
