This test footage of Shrek has been made in the mid 90's, during the pre-production. It was recieved by DreamWorks executives with poor enthusiam. Unfortunatly, the video was never released publicly. It is in 2014 that an ebay seller joined 6 bad quality screenshots to his bidding of an early Shrek concept statue. And this is where the worlwide search for the 'Shrek Test Footage' has started. For at least 8 years, we only had the screenshots. It is in 2022 that two snippets of Shrek dancing and interacting with the muggler where found by two reddit users. Today, we finally get our full look at this more than rare clip, who has been uploaded by a former DreamWorks artist : Barry E. Jackson.
