hate how people cant just agree two things can eb true at once, johnny was evil AND good, thats the entire point of his arc. Hes growing into being a better person, throughout the entire part he is switching in between ebing cold blooded and questioning decsicions, johnny sees himself as being in teh negative, and he doesnt care what he doesnt to get back to 0, and some people may see that as a bad or evil thing to do, but the thing is once youre in a negative, getting to 0 means youre only going up. Johnnys actions wouldnt and shouldnt be seen as fully evil because johnny himself is trying to get himself back to an even state, adding annegative onto a negative doenst take yo uto 0, it takes you lower. Johnny understands that doign things he deems as holding him back are what bring him down and stip him fro machiveing 0, the issue is RIGHT HERE were people asusme hes evil, because they dont seem to understand that he is NOT concrete on what brings him down. In one fight he can think killing this person will only hold him back, while in another he can beilve that killing the other person will 100% help him on his way up to 0. Johnny is not trying to ruin his life, hea trying to start over, why would someone who desires a fresh start at 0 choose to start life (aka after race is done) being known as a murderous crazy person who was evil just to be evil?? it makes 0 sense when you take johnny charcter into account.

If you read the story he’s not really that bad of a dude throughout the story mostly before starting the race he just says some morally questionable stuff like trying to abandon Diego when he was bleeding next to the dinosaur skeleton
