Were you already a Barclays customer when you got the Avios Barclaycard? I had a Barclays current account (over 10 years and Barclaycard Forward (8 years), never missed a single payment. For some reason, the app says there are no other card options available if I try to switch my Barclaycard, and no explanation as to why? I can’t seem to find any info about eligibility, some people have said it’s harder to get one if you’re already a Barclays customer

You can earn interest on balance in current account, there are plenty of reward debit cards, you get charge back protection which is basically equal to section 75 on a debit card
