@dreimusic: Melody test # 13 | Releasing one melody a day until I learn exactly what resonates with people I’ve already picked up on some signals since the start of these melody videos. I’ve been focusing a lot of the first couple of notes you hear right away. This decides if people skip or stay on the video. What I learned is that this combination of notes plus a stable rhythm always works: the 1, 2, 3, 5, notes of the minor natural scale. Essentially it’s a minor 9th, a dark but emotional chord, especially if you remove the 7th note. I predict this video will do better than the others, let’s see if this supports my theory.
