@refsneedlovetoo: I completely understand the frustration and feelings of favoritism regarding this challenge. It’s highly controversial. Most of the criteria for a red card for Serious Foul Play are met. the only one with a big question is the amount of force in the challenge. We need to remember that there is often contact between players at the highest level into calves, shins, and ankles all the time. If there is not enough force in the challenge, then we don’t have a clear and obvious Red Card for Srrious Foul Play. VAR cannot recommend a review for something that is not absolutely 100% a red card in their mind. What do you think about this?
