I mean they did multiple takes, depending on what the temperature was the milkshake could of melted a bit and they probably wanted it to look as best as possible, plus they really try hard to avoid actors eating or drinking anything if they can and maybe hes lactose intolerant. they probably atleast had one real one since you see the woman put the whipped cream and cherry on he just probably got a fake one when it was given to him
