Perfect for the season, and when topped with gingerbread cookies, they’re made for a Christmas table. 🎄✨ Ginger Dough – Ingredients 	•	680 g bread flour 	•	360 ml milk 	•	70 g sugar 	•	30 g molasses 	•	12 g salt 	•	120 g active sourdough starter 	•	1 whole egg + 1 yolk 	•	1 tsp vanilla extract 	•	½ tbsp cinnamon 	•	1½ tbsp ground ginger 	•	¼ tsp nutmeg 	•	⅛ tsp cloves 	•	90 g unsalted butter, soft ⸻ Ginger Filling 	•	220 g unsalted butter, room temperature 	•	230 g sugar 	•	2–3 tbsp cinnamon (to taste) 	•	1 tbsp ground ginger 	•	1 tbsp molasses (optional, for deeper flavor) Mix until creamy and spreadable. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, and roll tightly. 7. Cut & Place Cut into 7–8 rolls and place in a greased baking pan. 8. Final Proof Let rise 2–3 hours, until almost doubled. 9. Bake Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 30–35 minutes, until lightly golden and set. 10.
