People always have such one track minds to almost everything. Teachers do not get paid enough for what they deal with. It is not easy to be a teacher and I say that as someone who substituted for a very short time. Also do people not realize that some teachers have spouses and that income varies so it can make it look like teachers make good money ? Everyone's situation, bills, etc are so different but as a whole teachers dont get paid enough. Most dont get paid for a lot of days off like snow days and then summer of course. Its so frustrating.

Teachers have bachelor’s, master’s and phds, and Multiple certifications. 🙃🙃 We work weekends, afterschool and summers too prepping, grading, planning, attending PDs, etc.
