Tim Hawkins said: “We will begin implementing the naval blockade on Iran later today.” 🚧 All vessels entering Iranian waters could be intercepted: The UKMTO’s Joint Maritime Information Center issued an advisory stating that the U.S.-declared blockade of Iranian ports, anchorages, and territorial waters will take effect at 20:00 GMT on July 14. The blockade will apply to vessels of all flags entering or departing Iranian ports and territorial waters. Ships may be challenged, intercepted, diverted, or detained by U.S. and coalition naval forces. 🔸 Proposed Hormuz fee not coordinated with Gulf allies: A senior Gulf source told Axios that Washington has not discussed the proposed 20% cargo fee with its regional allies. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi responded: “POTUS is absolutely right. Whoever provides secure and safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz should be compensated for this service.
