@creamy_confusion: 🍸A - Z COCKTAILS: S for Santorini Sour… A drink that resembles the coastline of Santorini is a must for any greek dinner party. A sour is one of my favourite styles of cocktails, as it allows creamy elegance to the cocktail world. The deep blue bottom shows off the ocean surrounding Santorinis coast and the foamy white top the white painted house that adorn the mountains. The flavour is tart, but light, with a lovely dryness that feels like you’re drinking it in a beachside taverna off a greek island. The sour is a loose take on the Italian classic, Angelo Azzurro, which was a beloved cocktail from the 1990’s, and names after a gay bar in Rome. So any drink that brought my community together is one I can get around, and I really enjoy this more approachable take, compared to incredibly boozy original.
