It’s controversial but college genuinely does not make sense unless you’re going for medicine or law. Business degrees are almost useless experience matters 1000 times more in the workforce.

I completely agree but my kids will still go to a university. The learning is a plus but more for the experience and possible connections because who you know often goes farther than a degree.

I don’t think expanding your knowledge and earning a degree is a scam. I think it’s a scam how much they charge for us to get degrees. Career paths in the medical field and lawyers are probably the only ones that can guarantee financial success.. sadly. Everything else can definitely be self taught like you say
