The best typology system with undecided definitions. But in case yall wanna type yourself, here’s how I defined the neurotyping axes (?), but take it with a grain of salt (I’m protean and will change my mind) because there are multiple ways to conceptualise of the axes! I’ll post something more detailed soon regarding more elaborated definitions, chartlooping, neurotendency heatmaps and more Linear-lateral: how much information is considered at any given moment. Lateral types may consider distant, seemingly irrelevant nodes, creating a rhizome where the thought at hand is decentralised but everything is interconnected. Linear types engage in more filtering of such nodes and will continue onto a centralised one, so they quickly detect ‘irrelevance’ in information (something like combinatorial optimisation where efficiency is prioritised over sorting out each and every individual node). Lexical-impressionistic: how continuous or discrete meaning is in your semantic interpretation. Lexical types have a lower sense of semantic openness (ie meanings are not consecutively stacked); there lies a clear sense of drawing boundaries between each conceptual unit, basically explicit categorisation. Impressionistic types coalesce/overlap meaning and pack this into potentially differing interpretations of the same set of information; perhaps following a more contextually-dependent but ambiguous style. #typology #typologytok
