@madmires: A post on X tried to claim Africans and black people (Black Americans) are totally “different” based on looks… but this is exactly how division starts. From facial features to hair, Black people have always been diverse on the continent and across the diaspora. This isn’t just ignorance, it’s Afrophobia. And it’s showing up everywhere. We don’t need to “other” each other—we need to understand our shared roots and respect our differences. Black is not one look. Never has been. #africantiktok #BlackTikTok #blackbeauty #africanhair #afrophobia
Many of them aren't even mixed,u can easily spot mixed people by their hair texture. Somali are mixed people, and other some Ethiopian. 😂

These Black Americans don't know that many African girls have their hair cut short to go to school. Many girls keep their hair cut short throughout their childhood. Even as adults, they choose to keep their hair short. And then he shows us a picture of a Black American girl whose hair has been styled since birth and has never been cut.

Lmaooo East Africans literally have looser hair than African Americans and don’t wear wigs so idk what they are on. They think Africa is only limited to west Africa

there is a sad type of black Americans who are very proud of having European ancestry and distance themselves from Africa on that basis. I think it's a CIA project

I have always said this: the narrative that one must be mixed-race to possess certain features is an idea planted by white people.
Our perception of diversity among Black Africans is so limited that we sincerely believe *everyone*—absolutely *everyone*—who is Black African (whether from West, Southern, North, Central, or East Africa) fits the stereotypes of a broad nose, 4C hair, and dark skin, regardless of their diverse lifestyles and climates.
That is why I am not surprised that many Black people feel disconnected from Blackness; it is impossible to identify with it when the definition is so limited in terms of phenotype.
Black people in general—but especially African Americans, who are supposedly the most "pro-Black" group—constantly show themselves to be among those most influenced by the brainwashing of racism and white supremacy. Their lives literally revolve around what white people created for them, and they have built a culture based on what white people allowed them to do. They do not think for themselves; everything they consider "Black" is an idea planted by white people. That is why they make posts like this: "Since my white dad said Africans/Black people only had three phenotypic traits, and I have 3C hair and lighter skin, obviously I’m not African. 🦧"
