There’s no actual support to the idea that Tara Reade was lying. She just fled the country. Not sure that’s dispositive of her case though. Had Platner stayed in and Mainers felt backed into the wall voting for him to stop the universal harm that is this administration, I’m not sure I could blame them. Actually I’m sure I couldn’t.

Voting for or not voting for someone based on a sexual assault allegation isn’t a good idea on either side. We have no idea if any of it is true. Vote on policy.. side note I agree a nazi tattoo is disqualifying

In 2019 Tara Reade went to multiple media outlets including AP, Washington Post, and Vox, who all decided not to run her story because she contradicted herself in interviews. In 2020 she went to the press again with a completely different accusation, with both her and several of her friends contradicting what they said in 2019. On top of that her attorneys were a major Trump donor and former editor of Sputnik, and she eventually defected to Russia with Maria Butina, who was connected to both Putin and Trump.
