The second I give my two week notice I shoot off an email to HR. That’s pretty much ready to go recapping everything. That way they can’t pull this crap and if they do, I have a timestamp and documentation.

In Sweden you have between 1-3 month to quit your job. The company cannot fire you during this time. ✌️😁

In Germany the employer signs the notice and you can keep it - probably for exactly this reason 😅👍🏽

Exactly what happened to me. I put my 2 weeks notice. VP calls me to ask me why, gave him 10 reasons. 3 Doritos later I was terminated a day after talking to him. Worst thing is that my new job was on the same building. Hey had the malicious idea to ban me from the building, so I couldn’t work on my new job.
