Ep 14: Honey Garlic Pork Belly Ingredients: - 3 tbsp honey - 2 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp mirin - 4 cloves of garlic - 1/2 tsp of chili flakes - splash of water (to prevent burning) - 1lb pork belly cut into chunks - salt, pepper (optional) Mix, honey, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, pepper flakes, water and mix until combined set aside. Cut up pork belly and to a pan with no oil fry until golden and a majority of the fat is rendered. Drain the fat and into to the same pan, add in the sauce, and once bubbly finish with a corn starch slurry to thicken. #cooking #porkbelly #honrygarlic #FoodTok #homecook

I do a recipe very close to this one but instead of using a slurry I boil with stock and cook it for and hour after it's all soft I let it reduce until it becomes a thick sauce. it's a once a week recipe that I never skip
