I had the Japanese version from Sony (just one gen before). I wore it for a season of zipline guiding and bush trail clearing on the island of St. Croix, USVI. This review comes from someone with the wrong concerns. These are GREAT they survived the sweat fine. They directly cool circulating blood so the effect becomes systemic. This prevented more than one case of heat exhaustion. It isn’t a miracle. But it is a significant edge over a fan.

it definitely doesn’t look as noticeable as those neck fans. even then i saw people in the tokyo metro wearing the neck fans so it’s probably better than that at the very least

I recently bought and used the Reon the feel is similar to having a cold bottle of water on your back the difference is the Reon lasts about 8 hours on a single charge. You can turn on/off via app or remote.
