Had mine out about 24 years ago. Recovery was brilliant only time i needed to take paracetamol was due to the gas. I didnt get any nausea or run to toilet. Glad it all went well for you aswell

I had mine out Monday, today is Friday and I’ve been off ALL pain meds for 24 hours. I’m eating like normal, just focusing on eating lower fat. I feel almost normal. Just wish I could workout again!

Went to work 3 day post op??? My doctor didn't release me until week 4 . 🤭 I was lucky I didn't need the pain medication.

I have a positive mental attitude but remember that everyone is different. I’m pleased for you but I believe everyone should take it in their stride and listen to medical advice. Surgeon’s would normally advice at least 2 weeks before returning to work. But power to you lady!

How is everyone being told the size of their stones? I was just told I have them and put on the waiting list….which I’m still on 17 months later! 😢 thankfully I don’t get awful symptoms from it so happy to wait whilst more urgent cases are seen.

It’s insane how quickly you recover days 1 and 2 I really struggled thought that was me like that for weeks but now day 9 and almost 100%

100 this BUT not to dampen your positivity, I didn't experience post cholecystectomy disorder until a year after my gallbladder removal 🫠 BUT saying that it subsided 2.5 years after x
