I started thinking about it this way one day randomly. if the "evil eye" or public negativity could completely ruin things then famous people would never have anything good happen to them. Think about all the times an early pregnancy, a new romance, or great career news gets leaked. With millions of people actively sending negativity or jealousy their way their lives would just completely stall but it doesn't! Being East European I grew up surrounded by these traditional fears around the evil eye or do and don’t. And while I do believe people can project negativity and darkness, I've come to realize that what is meant for you will happen anyway. It doesn't even have to be a "forever" thing even just good moments meant for you right now will still reach you. As long as you don't internalize it that negative energy simply can't touch youu✨
